With a strong academic foundation in Microbiology, Olusegun expanded his expertise through extensive training in both Nigeria and the United Kingdom. His professional development included certification by the Lagos State Traditional Medicine Board under the Lagos State Ministry of Health, where he acquired in-depth knowledge of traditional medicine practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Driven by a passion for research and innovation, he later pursued a career in the United Kingdom, working in clinical research and contributing to the development of investigational medicinal products. His experience in scientific research has strengthened his commitment to integrating evidence-based approaches with the rich heritage of traditional herbal medicine.
